Ah yes the Monday blues are here again. Monday, Monday so good to em sounds like a million miles away, as does Manic Monday - I simply don't have the energy right now. And Blue Monday is too happy a record to even think about. So I'm posting this little Nirvana inspired piece to help vent a little anger. Who knows it might help.
Help me
Here she comes
The stain
the spectre
Help me
I’m hungry,
To drain you
Help me
Talk to me…
Rape me
Help me
Ease the guilt

Almost a year
Yes May 2010 since I was here. But then that is mainly due to my alter ego's (leyton attens)blog taking up a huge amount of my time. So what's been hapening. Well One Short Story To Be Told, leyton;s not so little project has been very much happening. I won't bore you though. You can, I know visit his blog (One Short Story To Be Told) to follow that. The novel is on hold, though not entirely. Dave or Pete still occasionally pop into my head for a chat. But I'm focused on One Short Story To Be Told, and a new idea - which is what brings me here.
I've written about twenty pieces of - we'll call it poetry, even though we're not fully sure that's what it is - that are comprised entirely of song titles from a particular artist. Sounds odd and strange and perhaps unworkable when outlined, but wonderfully, it actually works really well.
To date artists such as REM, Billy Bragg, Suede, Lady GA GA and Britney Spears have been given 'THE TREATMENT' so to speak, and I'll be releasing bits and pieces here in the near future. STAY TUNED!

Getting started in TV
Feeling rather excited now that I have a showereel completed, and that the national broadcaster right on cue is looking for submissions. Working hard today on CV and understanding the web process for getting videos online. Had a few technical mishaps, but all back on track now.
And the sun is shining, which always helps.
God, but I love the world.
